Based in Sea Island, Georgia, GOGI is built by a team of golf enthusiasts and professionals passionate about the growth and vitality of recreational golf, especially among youth, women and those under-served by the game.

Todd Anderson, Instruction

Awarded "National PGA Teacher of the Year" in 2010 by The PGA of America, Todd Anderson is a world-renowned golf instructor whose teaching methods have proven successful with players of all levels.

Todd is the Director of Instruction for the Sea Island Golf Learning Center, the only golf facility in the U.S. to employ four of Golf Digest's top 50 golf instructors. Since 2005, the Sea Island Golf Club Learning Center has produced more than 50 winners on the three major U.S. tours – PGA, Champions and Nationwide. Sea Island has been named as the “top golf resort” in North America by Golf Digest Magazine.

Todd has taught more than 70 PGA, Nationwide, Champions and LPGA Tour professionals including Davis Love III, Brandt Snedeker, Charles Howell III, John Rollins, Charles Warren, Brett Quigley and Billy Horschel. His students have achieved 24 wins on the PGA and Nationwide Tours since 1994.

Over 50 of Todd’s students have earned Division One scholarships with 14 students being named Collegiate All Americans. Personalities such as Matt Lauer, Ivan Lendl, and Marshall Faulk have also worked with Anderson to improve their games.

In addition to TV appearances on the Golf Channel's "Academy Live" and "Golf Talk Live,” Todd has been a featured guest on NBC's "Today" with Matt Lauer.

Todd is a contributing teacher to Golf Digest which ranks Todd number 11 on its list of “America’s 50 Greatest Teachers.” Over 45 of his instructional articles have been published by Golf Digest and Golf Magazine, including three cover stories.

Todd attended the University of Alabama, competing on the Crimson Tide golf team from 1980-84, and served as team captain his senior year.

Randy Myers, Golf Fitness

Named “Golf’s Top Fitness Trainer” by Golf Digest Magazine, Randy Myers has over 20 years experience as a trainer on the PGA Tour. Randy is the Director of Nike Golf Performance Worldwide, a Golf Digest Professional Advisor and founding advisor of the Titleist Performance Institute.

Randy is the Director of Fitness for the Sea Island Golf Learning Center where he is the golf fitness trainer of twelve PGA Tour players including Davis Love III, Lucas Glover, Jonathan Byrd, Brandt Snedeker, Charles Howell III, Zach Johnson, Dustin Johnson, Steve Marion, Chris Kirk, and Kyle Stanley. Myer’s students have won over 100 tournaments on the Nationwide, LPGA and PGA Tours. Randy also works with over a dozen college teams including Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, East Carolina and South Florida.

A pioneer in the study of biomechanics, exercise and performance training as related to golf, Randy’s articles have been featured in Sports Illustrated, Fitness Magazine, Men’s Health, Golf for Women, Elle and Teen Magazine.

Randy attended Penn State University, receiving a Masters degree in Leisure Studies.

Derek V. Smith, Chairman

Derek V. Smith has spent his entire career in technology and is a strong believer in solutions that encourage a more connected, compassionate and socially responsible world.

Derek is the founder of GivingPoint and Chairman and CEO of the Institute of Global Prescience, an interdisciplinary non-profit research, education and service organization.

Derek is the former Chairman and CEO of ChoicePoint, a leading provider of decision-making technology and information and a recognized leader in corporate citizenship, information security and personal privacy protection.

Derek serves on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Aquarium and Geeknet. He serves on the Board of Visitors for the University of Georgia and is a minority owner of the Atlanta Falcons.

Derek received a BCS from Penn State University and Masters of Business Administration from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Kristian Traylor, CEO

An avid golfer, Kristian Traylor is a strong advocate of simplifying and growing the game and making it more accessible to all levels of golfers.

Kristian has deep experience creating and launching technology-driven businesses in a range of industries including consumer, retail, technology services, supply chain, energy, telecommunications, media, and healthcare.

Prior to GOGI, Kristian was the founder of Golf Genie and Sanvean, LLC and an Executive with OfficeArrow, Unisys Corporation, Ariba, Inc. and Arthur Andersen Business Consulting.

Kristian is a Board Member of Men Stopping Violence and the Kellogg Alumni Club. He received a BBA from the University of Georgia and Masters of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Chuck Knebels, Executive Director of Membership

A Class A PGA member since 1977, Chuck Knebels is well respected in the golf industry as a forward-thinking golf professional and advocate for recreational golf.

Chuck is the former Director of Golf at Mariner Sands Country Club in Stuart, Florida and Hawks Ridge Golf Club in Ball Ground, Georgia.

Chuck is the winner of numerous PGA sectional events and has successfully qualified for the National Club Professional Championship in both the Regular and Senior divisions as well as represented the PGA in the Peters Cup and Mullins Cup. Chuck has also served on numerous boards and committees involved with the promotion of the game of golf.

Tanner Smith, Vice President of Member Services

Tanner Smith leads initiatives to enhance the GOGI member’s experience, support golf professionals utilizing GOGI’s technology and promote GOGI solutions. Tanner can also be seen at numerous PGA Tour Events and Major Championships, where he creates valuable exposure for GOGI and receives direct feedback on optimizing our solutions from our advisory team of leading golf professionals and PGA Tour players.

Tanner received a BA in Business Management and minor in Entrepreneurship from the Penn State University. As a member of the Penn State Varsity Golf Team, Tanner received All Academic Big Ten honors and was named "Distinguished Scholar of the Big Ten.”
